Mountainfilm 2019

November 2, 2019
New Bedford Whaling Museum - Cook Memorial Theater
SEE FILM SCHEDULE

SouthCoast Film Forum brings back Mountainfilm to the New Bedford on Saturday November 2. This one-day, two-part festival of culturally rich and inspiring short documentaries is presented at the New Bedford Whaling Museum theater.

Founded in 1979 and based in Telluride Colorado, Mountainfilm is one of America’s longest-running film festivals. Celebrating people, art, stories, and ideas, it uses the power of film to inspire audiences to create a better world.  The annual Festival Tour goes to over 160 cities around the globe.

Last year’s two-part show in New Bedford was a sellout success, and enthusiastically received.  Each program features different films, and for the most immersive and rewarding experience, we hope you will plan on attending both sessions.

Program One – 3:30-5:30 PM  $10
Program Two – 7:00-9:00 PM  $10

The Mid-Way Intermission is an opportunity to step out for a local meal.
